The Ghost of Existentialism



Description: A man is in his house drinking beer. Ghost: "Death is coming..." Description: Now the man is watching TV. Ghost: "...your time is running out..." Description: Now the man is playing video games. Ghost: "...you only have one brief life to live..." Ghost: "...every moment that passes is-" Man, angrily: "Will you knock it off!" Ghost: "I'm just trying to make sure you don't waste your brief life, like i did." Man: "I'm not wasting my life, okay?" Ghost: "But all you do is play video games, drink beer, and watch movies." Man: "Yes, exactly." Ghost, shyly: "Oh. I see. Um...so...do you think can i play?" Description: The man and ghost sit down on the couch playing a video game together.
"It turns out I wasted my life worrying so much about whether I was wasting my life."
